ABOUT
By understanding the lasting impacts of segregation, redlining, and systemic racism, we can begin to unravel how these forces have historically limited access to healthy food in marginalized communities. This awareness allows us to design solutions that go beyond immediate aid—addressing root causes, restoring dignity, and empowering communities. Through intentional, equity-driven interventions such as forcing a disruption in the food distribution system, we can disrupt cycles of food insecurity and challenge the stigma that often surrounds it.
